Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page explains how Meadowandlinen, the trading name of Meadow Air Shop, handles the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information, and how you can ask us to stop. We offer this choice to every customer in the United States, not only residents of California and other states with similar privacy laws.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, a "sale" means giving personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means giving personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across different websites, even when no money changes hands.

Service Providers Are Not a Sale or Share

Some companies process information on our behalf under contract so we can run the store: PayPal (payments), DigitalOcean Spaces (file and image storage), OpenAI (on-site product search), Telegram (order notifications for our staff), our email provider, and shipping carriers USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL. They may use your information only to provide services to us, not for their own purposes, so these disclosures are not a sale or sharing.

How to Opt Out

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share", or fill in the form on this page.
2. Include the email address you used on our site so we can apply your request to your records.
3. That's all. You do not need an account, and we do not ask you to verify your identity to opt out.

We will decline an opt-out request only if we have a good-faith, documented reason to believe it is fraudulent, and if so, we will tell you why.

We act on your request as soon as possible and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We also notify the parties that received your information after you submitted the request, letting them know you have opted out so they stop using it.

Using an Authorized Agent

You may have an authorized agent submit an opt-out request for you. We may ask the agent to provide written permission signed by you.

Global Privacy Control

Our website does not currently process Global Privacy Control (GPC) or other browser-based opt-out signals. To opt out, please use the email or form options above, and we will honor your request.

After You Opt Out

We stop sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still see general ads that are not personalized. We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months, unless you choose to do so yourself.

Consumers Under 16

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 without prior opt-in consent. Consumers aged 13 to 15 may give that consent themselves; for children under 13, a parent or guardian must consent.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, so a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link is not needed. Payment details are handled by PayPal.

Your Rights in Other States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information and profiling. You may also ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and if we need more time, we may extend by another 45 days and will tell you.

Appealing Our Decision

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our email or by writing to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days and explain our reasons. If you still disagree, you may contact your state's Attorney General.

No Discrimination

We will never refuse to sell to you, charge you a different price or lower the quality of our service because you used any of your privacy rights.
